I've completed my first round of P90x this week officially. After being on vacation last week, I felt I needed to wrap things up and completed the last set of days. Below are my thoughts and such about the program.
I think that they have a great program. Tony Horton does an excellent job of getting you motivated and inspired to tackle the workout and finish it. There are many levels offered during each workout which gives anywhere from a couch potato to those that are already in shape looking to get even better shape. Has a nice variety which allows you to not get bored, which is something I think most people get when they are working out. They do the same repetitive tasks over and over, and it doesn't get you motivated to continue.
Two of my favorites were the core synergistic and Kempo workouts. I do think there is something missing, I can't yet place my finger on it though. but I'm happy with the results.
In the 90 days I have seen a big transformation. I'm not ripped like you see say in the infomercials, but my own personal goals are coming together nicely. If I were motivated I would post my day 1 and day 60 and Day 90 pictures. We'll see. I have lost 15 pounds. I did not take measurements during this round. My main goal was to get healthly, change my lifestyle and feel better about myself. And I do think I have accomplished that.
Anyways, if you are looking to really take your workout to the next level, or even just look to incorporating some additional variety into your already existing regime, I'd recommend taking a look at the P90x series.
