Had a great workout with Insanity Pure Cardio on Day 9! I love the endurance based workout and it’s amazing the sweat you create from this. The way the exercises are put in order really do a great job of maximizing effort and getting best results. I’m a cardio endurance fan more and more that I do Insanity and it shows in doing this workout.

Ended up with a max heart rate of 202. Burned near 600 calories and AVG. HR was 145. It felt great.
As usual, I’m digging Insanity. As I think many of you are and should be as well. A great way to shed the pounds this winter, great way to jump start your fitness journey. I’ve enjoyed getting back into the first month of insanity and realizing how much you can gain from focusing hard during the first 4 weeks. The gains to be had here are amazing. I’m really trying to focus on the quality of foods I’m putting into myself, sticking best to the plan that I can as I know that is what will really bring me the results I’m looking for in the end. With any WORKOUT program, food will be more than 1/2 the battle. It is your fuel, your energy your life-force. It will dictate how well you perform and how your body will reach to those workouts.
Think about that before you put something in there that really shouldn’t be. Be aware of what you are eating and begin to see the alternatives that will drive home the changes you want to make in your life. it does take sacrifice, but to maximize your investment, your hard work and time, it just makes sense to go the whole 9 yards and finish strong on all fronts. it’s a fun battle to be won and well worth fighting!
So think about Insanity when you are looking for that next challenge. That next leap in faith to push yourself hard physically and mentally. Because it can be a mental game just as much to get motivated to workout this hard each and every night. Now, it isn’t for everyone but it is designed for total body conditioning for those that are up fro the challenge. You should have some fitness level coming in, meaning this is not for the average Joe Beginner.
