The legs felt great last night during Day 41 of Insanity and Max Interval Plyo. I will say took me a bit to get going in the warm-up though. I felt a bit stiff and ‘weak’ish but once through the stretches I was feeling it again. I really brought it hard the night before with the Max Interval Circuit and could of played a part. But once we started the first piece, it was all good from there.
Video update of Day 41 is here.
You know, one thing that is funny, is that I had not realized how many pushup’s are done in this workout. I must of been oblivious the first time around or something. I was sore the next day, but I hadn’t realized it was probably from that. So it was like one of those ah ah moments when I realized as i was getting down to do some of those funky side pushup things towards the end and said, ‘damn, my arms are getting tired. ‘. But it was really fun. I say that a lot, and might sound like a broken record, but I really am having fun with this stuff. Who would think that putting your body through such an insane workout would be fun and I’d enjoy it.
I’m not saying that I’m not exhausted, that I’m not being pushed hard enough, that I’m not pondering at times what in the world am I doing. I’m just simply saying that I am enjoying the fact that I am making progress, that I am enjoying the idea that in the end, I will have reach my goals, if I am truly pushing myself as hard as I should and digging deep.
To continue tradition, with almost all Insanity workouts, there is no shortage of sweat! Shirt is soaked, shorts soaked, dripping sweat everywhere. Even the arm bands I have were soaked so at some point it becomes useless to try and use. Reminds me I should get a 2nd set because it would really help. For Insanity a definite must have ‘equipment’ item.
Are you ready? I hope so, because I want you to have the same fun and results that I am. Make a change and get yourself on track again or taking that next level of a challenge. Push yourself, feel good about knowing you are making the right lifestyle change for the better.
I will say that because these workout’s are even longer than the first month, it is critical that you are recovering afterwards. Make sure that you are using your Recovery Drink
. This will help replenish and help you recover quicker by getting the proper ratio of carbs to proteins, which is 4-1.
So get on board and join up for some fun. Let me help coach you along and join up free here. Get Insanity
and i would love to help keep you motivated from Day 1 of your workout’s. Don’t forget to track yourself in WOWY
, my buddy name is KevinPrice. I am there each night. It really does add another level of accountability knowing that someone is going to be working out with you at the same time. Might be virtual, but it is a mental game, that works.
Commit, Focus and stay motivated. The formula works.
KP is out, Peace
