Day 40, Insanity Max Interval Circuit was HOT HOT HOT! i say. I loved it last night. I would say that was one of my best workouts yet through the entire 39 days leading up. I really got into the workout and felt great from beginning to end. Something got inside me and motivated me beyond the norm and it felt amazing. Not sure what, but I need to find that every single night. It is amazing what you can do when you find the right motivator to really jump start your fitness. Whether it is a single workout or just getting you started down the right path in the first place. Insanity has been wonderful for that with me.
Video update for Day 39/40 posted here.
The only thing I can say is when you are motivated properly you can really attain a level of energy that you normally don’t. Last night was one of them. It was late when I did my video update, so I don’t think it will show truly the energy I had during my workout itself. But I was pumping out more repetitions, doing the floor switch kicks from start to finish and ready to do more after each circuit. The morale of the story here is, if we DIG DEEP, find that spark, we can all reach that level of fitness we want to achieve. Insanity has some great workout’s that really push us mentally to find that inner desire to push through the exercises and finish. With Shaun Thompson there creating the energy that he has, you just want to keep going.
Max Interval Circuit and for that matter all of the Max workouts have been great fun. I think when everyone reaches them their first go around they will have the same feeling. Now, it might be painful, might be downright exhausting, but that is the beauty. You know you are going to reach your goals and be better for it in 60 days. With me feeling much more relaxed this 2nd time around and knowing what to expect, i was able to keep focused on the exercise at the time, and work on form rather than just trying to get the exercise down which I know I did the first time around. The beauty though of it all is that these are DVDs. Easy to pause, rewind and watch again to make sure you are doing it right. I’ve done it and will still do it when I don’t think I am doing a routine correct.
I will say that because these workout’s are even longer than the first month, it is critical that you are recovering afterwards. Make sure that you are using your Recovery Drink. This will help replenish and help you recover quicker by getting the proper ratio of carbs to proteins, which is 4-1.
So get on board and join up for some fun. Let me help coach you along and join up free here. Get Insanity and i would love to help keep you motivated from Day 1 of your workout’s. Don’t forget to track yourself in WOWY, my buddy name is KevinPrice. I am there each night. It really does add another level of accountability knowing that someone is going to be working out with you at the same time. Might be virtual, but it is a mental game, that works.
Commit, Focus and stay motivated. The formula works.
KP is out, Peace!
