insanityTextBox So this is my ‘weekend’ update by KP.  I was gone till late last night (Sunday) so wasn’t able to do a regular update on my daily progress so this is a group update.

Insanity Update:  So far Insanity is living up to what I expect it to provide me.  Which I will say honestly, is if it can provide me with the results so far for Mr. Average Joe here, then I will say it will do for you the same thing.  I’m only 1/3 of the way through, which is astonishing that it has gone by this fast actually.   But being now that far into it, i can feel the results. I’ve lost some additional body fat, a pound or so (not trying to, so that is fine) and the energy, endurance is there. It’s getting better each week.  I love the feeling of knowing that I can really feel the abs there, just a bit more to ‘see’ them. :)

Video update of day 18/19/20 posted here

Day 18 –> cardio Recovery

Recovery continues to be a nice mid-week type of breakup to the ‘insanity’ that you have been going through. it allows you to keep the body moving, yet prep it to remind it there is more to come over the coming days.  Just like any recovery day , they all have their purposes to aid the body, your mind in staying sharp and ready to tackle your goals and keep up the intensity throughout the program.

Day 19 –> Rest (love these days)

Was out of town over the weekend, so it was necessary to do some shifting of my rest day. Which worked out nicely.

Day 20 –> Cardio Power & Resistance

So we left where we were at that day late.  We didn’t get out until like 3:30pm. We still had a nice drive ahead of us and I kept wondering if I’d get back in time to workout for the night. I am not one that likes to workout late.  Ends up taking like 6 hours to get home.  Manage to get everything unpacked, tikes into bed and then finally some time for me to get to the workout.  I get in there to start @ like 11pm.  Which is just way late for me.  I still got into the routine. Took about 5 minutes into the warm-up (thank goodness for warm-ups) to get my mind and body mentally ready to really give this routine what I needed to.

The workout went very well all the way through till the end.  I love now knowing these routines better.  When you get familiar with them, it does help you to start focusing on form consistently over trying to fumble around figuring out how the move goes.  You have to keep challenging yourself throughout to dig deeper and put the intensity in.

Thoughts –> lesson’s learned from the current workout’s.  Stay focused. Stay prepared to adjust your schedule as needed without sacrificing any days if possible.  The hardest part is always getting back started.  To keep up the focus and really raise your intensity each workout.  You have a finite amount of time each day that you are using to workout. You are using that 1 hour a day that you can’t get back. So why go in there and not push yourself to do better each and every time.  Don’t just go through the motions. Enjoy what you are doing and get back out of it more than you will ever imagine.

If you are interested in Insanity, contact me and lets have a chat about what you want to get out of it.  I enjoy discussing.  You also need to be getting signed up over at TeamBeachBody Community and using WOWY to track your workout’s. You will help increase your odds of success by tracking yourself, and keeping yourself accountable each night.  Now if you don’t have Insanity go grab it here.  I am here to help get  you through to the next level of your fitness.  Motivate and be Motivated!
