So last night (Thursday actually, post got delayed) was another great workout from Shaun T and BeachBody. This was the Plyometric cardio circuit, aka. Cardio Circuit. I think there was some mistakes on the calendar or some shorthand going on. But the community at large clarified that it was indeed the same workout. So after that was settled, it was time to get down to business and workout.
What I love so far about this program, is the variety overall. I mean, sure the warm-up’s and stretching are similar, but when you get into the guts of the workout’s they so far have a nice bit of variety. This is what I’ve always wanted and liked. For me this continues to be a tough routine, but as I do it more and more, I get better. Now, as for last night specifically, as I mentioned in my little video blurb on YouTube, it was tough to come to the game and show up.
To me, it felt like I was going into the 100th round of a boxing match, but it was only round 1. I was pretty tired for the first 15 – 20 minutes. But I did gain some steam through the rest of the workout. But as always, it felt good the fact that I got in there, I DUG way DEEP and got through it and was happy that I had.
I highly recommend that if you are looking at doing insanity to make sure you are properly fueling yourself throughout the day prior to your workouts, or in the case of those that workout in the mornings, get something small in to help make sure you have the energy levels towards the end of the workout when you most need it! Nutrition really is critical. It you plan on succeeding at this,
Any questions on Insanity, contact me. I’m always looking forward to talking with someone about their journey/transformation and experiences and see if we can get you involved as well. You won’t regret it. Many other workout’s other than Insanity that may fit your needs. Let’s figure it out! It’s fun seeing others reaching their Goals. I’ve had fun so far, hope that you are as well. It’s important to enjoy what you are doing!
Peace!
