So I did my first run of the new series coming out next month by Beachbody.com and Shaun T. called Insanity.  Let me just start off by saying, it is everything that it says.  It is INSANE.  Mainly becuase you are rarely stopping, your heart just keeps on pumping, and you sweat.  And not just a little sweat, you sweat a lot.  With all that said, I loved it.  I couldn't do it all, but that is ok. I never expected myself to be able to.  I just wanted to show up and get through it the best I could.  It went for approx. 41 minutes.  With a warmup that would rival most workouts in general.  Then a 6 minute streching routine.  Then roughly 21 minutes more of cardio insanity, and a 3-4 minute cooldown.  Read the rest....

Pretty much from the start, my heartrate was between 165-175 throughout.  During the 30 second breaks maybe dropped to the 150's.  At one point I saw a heartrate of 178.  Not sure if went higher at some point, but that was high.  The moves aren't difficult, its just a matter of the intensity that you have to bring to the workout.  The excitement level from Shaun T. and the music keep you wanting to continue throughout the workout.  All I know is that everyone ounce of me was tired, wet to the core and wanting more.  I am most excited for the full set comes out in June.  I've seen a couple sites, http://teamxtremefitness.blogspot.com/ (Brad, hope you don't mind),  list the details about the overall program to be included.

1. Dig Deeper/Fit Test, 2. Plyometric Cardio Circuit, 3. Cardio Power & Resistance, 4. Cardio Recovery/Max Recovery, 5. Pure Cardio/Cardio Abs, 6. Cardio Abs, 7. Core Cardio & Balance, 8. Max Interval Circuit, 9. Max Interval Plyo, 10. Max Cardio Conditioning/Cardio Abs

I will definitely get this and due a 60 day run.
