So does anyone ever like change? Do you like being taken out of that comfort zone that keeps you nice and happy, no worries about figuring out something new, or forcing yourself to learn a new way of doing things. That wouldn’t be any fun now would it? I mean, why change for the better when you are quite content with the way things are going along now. Sure you might be unhappy, feel miserable, not moving up the chain or gaining recognition, but sometimes that just seems more acceptable rather than facing the reality that you might need to break free of your fears.
Change has many faces and many obstacles to overcome. Change is scary, it can come at you from many angles and most not when you expect it. But change can be a good thing also. You just need to take that step to changing the ‘things’ around you that are holding you back from achieving the success you want, and know that you should have.
In order to get yourself back on a healthy lifestyle fitness level that you use to be, always wanted to be or plain outright need to be to live to a healthy age of 80, you have to CHANGE. You have to accept that with this change there will be pain, there will be sacrifices that you much make. it isn’t an overnight affair, it is a lifelong quest and bond that you will forge with yourself to become healthy. Can it be done? Totally.
So what do we need to do to get you out of your comfort zone? There is no more saying, we’ll I’ll start tomorrow, or just this one last big meal of fast food or this is my last box of cigarettes! Let’s stand up right now, take a hold of our fears to change and throw it out the window. It’s that easy. It might not be that much fun at first, might not feel like it is easy as you fight through the changing process, but the gains of change outweigh the gains of sitting stagnant and dying in a heap of your own self pity. No one likes losing control, but sometimes that is a necessity to true change.
I want you to change. I want you to become healthy. I want you to feel better than you have ever felt in your entire life. I want you to be confident that you can do anything, become anything and live for a long time by changing.
You will find that you can run, but you can’t hide from change forever. Because if you do, you will never attain the sights that are there for you. you’ll never be the person you should of been, should be.
- Fight the ever changing tide of obesity that is occurring in our ranks today
- Fight the fact that 1/3 of all Adult Americans are obese.
- Fight the fact that our health care costs are soaring because of obesity.
- Fight the fact that it costs on average $1,400 more per year for an obese person in health related expenses compare to some one that isn’t.
- Fight the fact that our children are destined to be obese due to their parents inability to CHANGE.
- Fight the fact that our world is just simply obese. Every country is fighting this problem.
How do you fight it? One simple word, Change. Simply change how we view ourselves, our bodies, and change your lifestyle. Accept the fact that you deserve to be healthy. That you deserve to be happy. We live here for a finite amount of time. Make it last. Enjoy it the way we should be. Start working out on a regular basis, start watching the foods you put into your body on a daily basis. Start using the stairs instead of the elevator. Changing your views, your perceptions on obesity, will change the way everyone else does. If people can see that change is occurring and its working, they will follow. Don’t look for the quick change (wonder drugs, medical procedures, etc) to get you where you need to be. Change is long term, no matter how you want to look at it.Embrace it and contact me if need help or need motivation to take that first step. I’d love to assist.
There are many programs out there that you can start with that will help. I am using some of the more ‘extreme’ fitness programs (Insanity, P90x) because I already ‘CHANGED’ my lifestyle, I already took that step to become healthy. Am I done? No. Never. It doesn’t stop, it doesn’t go away. You continue to find ways to better yourself. But there are others that are designed to use as starter workouts/routines to get you into shape. Let’s find one that fits your needs and fitness level.
