The power of your own possibilities
“What if you could fully comprehend everything of which you're capable? You would never waste another moment of your precious time.
What if you could know how truly powerful you are? You would never again be reluctant to move forward.
You are the living expression of opportunity. Within you are countless magnificent achievements to be discovered and fulfilled.
Fear keeps those achievements unrealized, hidden from yourself and the world. Love will set them free.
Spend a moment in loving thankfulness for all that has brought you to where you are today. Peacefully let go of the resentment, doubt, disappointment, worry and fear.
Feel the power of your own possibilities. See that the best is yet to come, and joyfully begin to bring it to life.
-- Ralph Marston”

Often, we in life wait for the right timing, or the perfect scenario to act on something. To say that we’ll get started when the moment is right. Is that ever the case? Another great motivational message sent along to me that hopefully strides a chord with you that don’t put things off. don’t wait till that perfect ‘situation’ that will never rear its face. You need to be the one to take the bull by the horn and run with it. Take that first step and make a commitment!
“If you wait for the ideal situation, it will never come. If you create the ideal situation, it will always be, whenever you choose for it to be.
There are plenty of excuses you can make for why this is not the time to act. And while you're busy making those excuses, someone else is busy taking those same actions that you are merely considering.
The time is right when you make it right. Waiting and hoping for things to get better will just allow things to get worse.
If it's important to you, figure out a way to get started on it now. Because the more you delay, the more you're telling yourself that it's really not that important.
Why would you want to spend your time setting yourself up for disappointment? Instead, you can spend that time marching steadily toward your goals.
The ideal time is when you make it, and what you make it. Make it now, and make it great.”
-- Ralph Marston
If you are ready to break the mold, break that cycle of unhappiness or just plain tired of being in the same rut, then stop making excuses. Don’t wait, the ideal time is now, today, the present. Get yourself moving, get your mind on the right path to success. Here to help, lets do this together.

This is another wonderful motivator that was sent out to me that I wanted to share. Make yourself a promise today for a better future. Healthy fit one and challenge yourself more than you ever have. You can do it. It is in you.
______
What promise can you make to yourself today? What promise can you make to yourself, and keep?
You have made, and will continue to make, all sorts of commitments to others. if those commitments are to have any value, you must also be committed to yourself.
It’s not the least bit selfish to be committed to yourself. because being your absolute best, is what enables you to be of service to others.
Right now, you know of many ways in which you can strengthen and improve your value to yourself, and your value to life. Pick one of those ways, right now, and make a promise to yourself to follow through.
No matter how far you’ve already come, there is always some new fulfilling ground to cover. Choose a fresh, challenging path, and commit to making your way along it.
Make yourself a promise. And give to all of life your own unique gift of achievement.
-Ralph Marston

What’s holding you back? Hopefully nothing. There are no obstacles to big to work through. There is nothing that should allow you to reach big and be successful and achieve your greatest ambitions. The below excerpt was sent from a co-worker which I thought was incredibly motivating at us all striving to be our bests.
“Do all you can, when you can, with what you have. Though it may sometimes seem that you're not getting much accomplished, the only alternative is to get nothing accomplished.
To make progress you must be actively making an effort. With each effort, at the very least you gain experience, exposure, knowledge and competence.
To find what you're looking for, you must be looking. To come across a great opportunity, you must be in motion.
By all means, go ahead and dream big, wonderful and meaningful dreams. Then let those dreams motivate you to get up and get busy making them real.
Circumstances may indeed push against you, but they cannot hold you back. Always, there is something you can do, some move you can make, some new approach you can follow.
Jump into life, get yourself in motion, and make a positive difference every chance you get. Persist, keep yourself moving, and you'll absolutely get where you wish to go.” -- Ralph Marston
Keep this in mind each and everyday. Focus on doing what’s right and what will make you successful. Get in motion! You can do it, just takes that first step! This is true in all matters of your life.
Stay fit and healthy!
We all do it at some point or another. I will be the first to admit I’ve used excuses before. I Kevin Price have made excuses for not doing the right thing!. I did it for many years making up the usual reasons to not do what was right for myself. I mean, it is rather simple isn’t it? So why do we do it? Why do we continue to ‘enable’ ourselves to not live up to our potentials; to find those little reasons to sit on the side lines. Why continue to feel like we are wasting away? Why continue to go down a dead end path?
It’s not rocket science. I want to see you get healthy. Stop eating fast food.
Here are a few statistics:
- 110 Billion dollars are spent annually alone in the US on ‘Convenience’ foods.
- 15 Million Americans are considered Morbidly obese
- Current trends have our children NOT living longer than their parents if things continue.
I saw this video and thought that it was perfect for explaining why there is no place for an excuse today, tomorrow or any other day. Watch this video, you’ll see there simply is no reason for it. You want motivation, here it is. Get up off the couch. Get out your recliner. Get moving today and make a difference in your life and your children's. Let’s get healthy!
Contact me if you are ready to make a change. Here to help you anyway that I can to get moving in the right direction towards a healthy lifestyle that will transform you into the person you want and should be. Help yourself, help our children and their children understand what is the right way!
Got this from a co-worker this week and thought that this really hits home about taking that first step to controlling your own destiny and getting yourself on track to a healthy lifestyle and your own life journey down the right path!
“Just because you seem to be at a disadvantage is no reason to give up. Instead, resolve to push forward with consistent, focused effort.
Those who achieve are not necessarily the smartest, the wealthiest, or the best connected. Those who achieve are those who are the most persistent.
Your level of commitment over the long term is a much bigger factor than any relative advantages or disadvantages that may exist when you first start. Choose where you would like to go, and keep making the effort until you get there.
Be willing to do what it takes, and you can achieve whatever you wish. Instead of worrying about where you are when you begin, put your energy into making steady Progress.
If you can take one step and then another, you’ll get where you choose to go. So take the first step right now, and then begin working on the next one.
you owe it to yourself to live life at its best. Now is your opportunity to make that life happen.”
--Ralph Marston

Alright. One year ago, I had to buy a size 38 waist pant. and it was ‘comfortable’ I will say when i wore them. I wasn’t happy about it. I wasn’t excited to get a new pair of pants. I was actually quite sad. Sad that I had let myself get to that point. Should I have really done that? NO. but you now what, we all live in the real world. We all have families, jobs and things we considered a higher priority in life. Those things that I now deem as Obstacles.
I think that these obstacles in fact, are just things that we sometimes allow as an excuse rather than focusing on our own needs and goals. But 10 months ago, I decided it was time to make a change. It was time to get back my health, my weight and my happiness and confidence. And guess what. It’s paid off 10 fold, There is no end in sight, there is nothing that will get in my way of continuing my SUCCESS.
Just the other day, the wife said you have to get a pair of pants that fit you now. I was like, oh. That is a good thing. Why? because over the past 10 months, I have lost 30 pounds, and about 18% body Fat. My waist size has gone from a 38 down to a whopping 32. Yes, a 32. I really have no clue the last time I fit into a pair of 32 waist. I will have to ask my mother because it really has been that long. :).
Can it happen to you? 100% yes. Can you realize your goals and get your life back on track? 100% yes. Does it take guts, does it take motivation, does it take hard work? 100% yes. There is no easy road. No magic pill. But, I guarantee you if you put the time in, you put the energy necessary, your life will be turned upside down. Seize the day and don’t let another Today get away from you!
Take a chance. Contact me and find out how. You may ask how did I do it? Simple yet effective. Lifestyle changes. I set aside the time to make it work for me. Are you interested?I can help! Help me, help you! Take the first step and make the right decision. Insanity, P90x, Chalean Extreme or any other Beachbody product. That’s what got me where I am today. And I’m glad to have been introduced to them. They get the job done. Decide. Commit. Succeed!

Saw an article that made mention of something Tony Horton said that I thought is ideal.
“Create a life with purpose and a plan. Many people care to much about how they look. To be effective in getting in better shape and health, you need to focus on yourself and ignore the rest. Find a purpose that affects ho you are and what you can change today. If you exercise today and you eat well today, you have improved your health, you have improved your fitness, and you have improved the quality of your life”.
I think that too often we really do get caught up in everything that is going on around us and don’t focus on the easy things in life. Which is our health and family. Small steps, changes, corrections in our daily lives can make incredible strides towards returning you to a happier and healthier self!
Decide
- Make the conscious decision to get yourself into shape. To make a lifestyle change that will improve the quality of your life.
Commit
- Commit to that change you decided to do. Get in the ‘game’ and press play each and everyday. Find the internal/external motivation that will help you reach your goals.
Succeed
- The satisfaction that you stuck with something to actually succeed and accomplish your goals.
Take a chance folks. Take that leap and improve upon yourself. I would like to help you reach your fitness goals. Take the first step and decide. Contact me (facebook, IM, phone). I’m open to help you out. use the contact me to setup up by phone and IM. After we talk, figure out a plan of attack, then we’ll get you started in one of the programs (P90x, Insanity, Chalean Extreme, Tony Horton One on One, Slim in 6, Turbo Jam, 10 minute trainer). All highly effective home fitness programs that will get results and are ideal for the coming offseason/winter months.

Have you ever sat down and said ‘What if’. I’m sure you have. I know that I have in the past wondered what would happen if I would of changed this scenario or that scenario and what would the outcome of been. I mean, truly there are an infinite amount of things that could happen if we simply changed one decision today. Instead of going left at the light to get to our destination, we make a right. What ramifications does it have? many possibilities. Or what about the ‘what if’ I had tried for that job which came available. Would I be happier than I am now? Would I be more financially sound? Our decisions can make a lasting impact on everyone around us!
We travel many roads each and every day in our life. I think it is important to ask this question “What If’ at all of those paths we cross. The possibilities that we open up are endless. I mean think about the decision to get healthy in your life. I myself asked this very question 10 months ago and said ‘what if’ i just pressed play. 10 months later I continue to say ‘what if’ I eat this food rather than this one, or ‘what if’ I push myself that little bit more, will I get even better results!
Think about our forefathers and the visionaries of the past and future. Did they sit around and say ‘what if’. Certainly. They said ‘what if’ America was free. they said ‘what if’ I could find a better way to do X.
So I ask you to think about the ‘what if’ about your own health, life and fitness. Make that conscious decision to say ‘what if’ i decide to push play. ‘what if’ i decide to make a lifestyle change and get off the couch ‘what if’ you simply took a 20 minute walk every night. The results, would be amazing!.
I bring this up because many people don’t take the time to realize they need to challenge everything that they have preconceived about a situation or process or anything. Don’t make the assumption. ‘what if’ can lead to so many changes in your life and in the end make you a better person!
I firmly believe that there are NO excuses that people can tell me why they aren’t looking to better themselves daily. There is no reason you can’t find something for Today’s Purpose that will make a difference. The possibilities are endless, take a chance and challenge everything.
Love to discuss with you so contact me. Think about your health, your fitness and If interested in getting started on a healthy fitness program let’s talk. BeachBody does a great job of providing a quality home fitness product that works. P90x, Insanity, Chalean extreme and more. ‘what if’ you bought one today and were healthy again in 90 days! Let me help you down that road as your coach!

So I often see a lot of questions about what should I be doing to get prepared to start my workout program. What tools, what are some general tips to help me be successful during my workouts! I didn’t do much research before I started my program initially and I think some of this would of help. Especially for people that haven’t actively trained for any period of time or just starting out. So let’s get you properly prepared to do your best and be successful! I’ve done 2 rounds of P90x and 1 round of Insanity. I
- Nutrition (everyone's arch enemy)
- Your diet will be vital to your success. I mean crucial. if you eat crap, you will workout like crap and feel like crap! Your results will suffer, your motivation will suffer. This is always the first place to look if you aren’t seeing things going as you expected. Log it. Track it. Find ways to make it work.
- Prepare meals ahead of time for the week or a few days out.
- Make sure you are keeping it colorful (veggies, fruits), lean meats, fish. Look for those ‘empty’ calories that are not providing you with any type of benefit
- Don’t eat at night. After dinner I don’t eat again typically. I will have my recover drink and that is it after my workout.
- eat 5-6 small meals a day. (keeps your metabolism/energy running in high gear all day long.
- Eat healthy snack’s (almonds, shakeology, fruits, veggies). items that are high in fiber and will give you a sustained feeling of fullness. so you won’t consider eating something unhealthy.
- Lots more of this but 100% will make or break your results! Food is your Fuel and energy to successfully workout and get great results! Follow the food plans or create one that works for you.
- Time
- Often you find that you workout better in the mornings or evenings. each person is different so find what works best for you. Your overall schedule will play a part in this, but you should work towards you strengths.
- Tools
- For each workout program there are a ‘base’ level of tools/equipment that you need to get started. Make sure you have researched this prior to starting. Contact others that have been through the programs and find out what you need.
- One example is P90x. Minimally you need a Chin-up bar and either weights and/or resistance bands. Without, it can be very difficult to be effective at your training and will not see the results you are looking for. If you have questions on equipment requirements let me know. I can help.
- Non required tools for P90x include, pushup bars, yoga mat, yoga block
- Hydration
- Drink your 8 glasses of water daily. It is important for the muscles and body to have enough hydration to function and work properly. your muscles thrive on water.
- Takes sips throughout the day while you are drinking. don’t gulp it all down in one sitting.
- Workout
- Do NOT eat within an hour of the workout. You will feel cramps, vomit, and other not so fun things if you do.
- During your workout, take sips of water. don’t gulp it down.
- Utilize a recovery drink after your workout. This is a proven fact that you will be less sore, recover quicker and replenish your energy levels faster if you use some sort of recovery drink after your workout. Ask questions about your options with this. You will want to take this within 10 minutes for the best effects and can still be effective up to an hour after.
- Pictures & Measurements
- Take your pre workout and after workout measurements
- waist, hips, neck, thighs, arms/biceps, chest
- Get a body fat measurement. You can use the values from the above to give you an estimate. There are other options such as Body fat calipers, scales
- before and after shots from your workout program
- Take front shot, side shots, and back shots. Wear the proper clothing so you can highlight the changes at the end.
- take the photo’s in the same location from the same angle so you get best shot. Also ensure you have proper lighting. I myself totally regret not having my initial photos. Because the motivational boost you get at the end from seeing the results like that are awesome. I know I changed, but its kind of nice seeing it in a picture also. it’s a mental thing, but it works.
- Log your progress
- P90x, P90x Plus, and Chalean extreme there are excel sheets for just this suck thing.
- No if/ands/butts on this one. Be accountable. Log your progress using the tracking devices provided by the workout programs.
- Insanity, you need to keep track of your fit tests. Really helps to show you how far you’ve progressed every 2 weeks.
- It is nice for any workout program to get a feel of your progress. Helps motivate you and keep you interested in what is happening. You can figure out ways to get more out of your workout’s this way.
- WOWY is another option. Work Out With You. An online workout tracking, free from TeamBeachBody, virtual workout site that helps create a workout atmosphere with others. You add buddies, decide on a workout time and commit to being there for each other. My BuddyName is KevinPrice. Great site, chance to win money each day as well. Questions, ask.
- Can I substitute and should I follow the program to the Tee?
- Each program is designed in such a manner to get the best our of you. But we live in the real world. We often find some things work better than others for ourselves. So ‘Yes’ you can substitute out workouts for some days. Your goal is to get healthy, fit, more energy and have some fun. It is means switching out Plyometrics for a standard cardio x or some other workout, then do it. The key, is keeping yourself motivated and engaged in your workout program.
- Modify Modify where necessary. Tony Horton always says ‘do your best and forge the rest’. It is sound advice. But this goes for any and all workout programs.
- What do I do after the program is finished?
- First, pat yourself on the back for accomplishing it. Give yourself props that you made the decision to commitment to a program and you succeeded!. Nothing more motivating than knowing you reach your goals and milestones and getting yourself healthy and on track
- Look at some new programs for variety. Adjust your current program to push yourself further.
- P90x – You have three versions. Doubles, Lean, Classic. each has its own purpose.
- Look at my page on options. Each program works and will get results while adding new variety and fun to keep you motivated!
- Anything Else?
- If you have any questions, any other information you think would be helpful for me to expand on here contact me, or leave a comment. I love to talk about this stuff and hopefully can get you interested and motivated to workout and get healthy. One day and person at a time!
I am a BeachBody Coach and would love to help you in your fitness journey. Any questions about their products (Insanity, P90x, chalean Extreme, Turbo Jam), contact me straight away!
